Looks as if those jerseys that have been circulating the internet are indeed the official 2014 US Men’s National Team home jerseys.
According to a Nike email sent to soccer store owners across the United States, the home USMNT home shirt will be released on March 5th, with pre-sale beginning on February 27th. Not only will the jersey be released to the public on March 5th, but the USMNT will have a friendly that day versus Ukraine in which they will debut the white home jerseys.
The USMNT home shirt for the 2014 World Cup is a white shirt with a polo-shirt collar. The shirt features red trim on the bottom of the short-sleeves as well as on the edges of the collar.
The most interesting feature of this otherwise boring jersey is the blue and white stars that are featured on the inside back of the collar.
On the close-up shot of the shirt, you can see that the shirt will feature thin horizontal lines across the front and back of the shirt.
As for the away jersey, according to worldsoccertalk.com, it’ll be red in color with white trim; The red will be the same shade of red as England’s 2013 away shirt. Not only that, but the away shirt will feature folded sleeve cuffs and the shorts will also be red.
Release for the away jersey is slated for April 3rd, with pre-sale beginning on April 2nd.
